What West Jordan is built out of.
West Jordan splits east to west by decade. The eastern half, closer to Redwood Road and the old Gardner Village mill site, holds the older stock — brick ranches, split-levels, and Craftsman-influenced houses. West of Bangerter Highway it's mostly 1990s through 2010s subdivisions.
The east side is where the estate and probate calls come from, and it's starting to come up. Houses bought new in the seventies now have original owners in their eighties. The west side generates a different mix: remodel demo, basement finishes coming back out, and straightforward volume junk removal.
