What Herriman is built out of.
Herriman was a few thousand people at the turn of the century and is now one of the fastest-growing cities in the state, still building against the Oquirrh foothills. There is essentially no historic housing stock, so there is essentially no estate or probate work.
What there is: construction debris, and a lot of it. New build generates offcuts, packaging, and tear-out; the first wave of 2000s houses is now old enough for remodels; and benched lots against the foothills mean retaining walls, tiered yards, and elevated decks that come down as a structural job rather than a pry-bar job.
Herriman is at the outer edge of the 15-mile ring around Sandy. Still served — worth saying plainly rather than leaving someone to guess.
What that means for the work.
- Construction debris
- The dominant job here. Trailer-load pricing, same as anywhere.
- Shed and outbuilding demo
- Builder-grade structures and early-2000s sheds at the end of their life.
- Tiered decks on benched lots
- Foothill grade means elevated and stepped construction. Sequencing matters coming down.
In Herriman
All seven services.
- Junk Removal
$695 a full trailer, $395 a half. Garages, basements, single items. Demo is in house, so nothing gets left behind because it's attached.
- Downsizing Cleanouts
You take what you're keeping. We clear everything else and leave the house swept. Removal only — no moving service.
- Estate Cleanouts
A whole house, emptied and swept. Usually after a death or a move to care, and usually on somebody else's deadline.
- Estate Sales
A real estate sale, run at the property. Sorting, pricing, staging, marketing, and the sale itself — 40% of what sells.
- Probate Cleanouts
For the executor and the attorney. The house emptied on a court timeline, documented, and ready to list.
- Hoarding Cleanouts
Discreet, unhurried, no judgment. Most of the people who call about this are calling about someone they love.
- Demolition
Structural and load-bearing, interior and exterior. Licensed GC, so the demolition permit gets pulled — a hauling company legally can't.
